On November 30th-31st my friends, my wife and daughter went to the New York City to visit. Of course I had to bring camera since at the time I was working on my night photography portfolio. I was able to take some nice shots but because of the time-frame I couldn't take as much as I wanted too. However, I will be coming back and I am going to spend a whole taking pictures of the architecture of New York City. On that Saturday night I told my friend Danny "listen I really have to go the World Trade Center Fountain to take at least five pictures before we leave to Mass," So he dropped me off and I was able to take some very kool pictures.

In the 13 years that I have been living in the United States I have never been to the area where the twin towers used to be. So when I got out of the car, everything was so quiet and all I heard was the waterfalls. I have never felt such emptiness and sadness in my life. When I arrived there I just thought about the thousands of people who have died in this place, who either jumped from the building, died burning, or died by walls collapsing on top of them. For me it was such a emotional moment in my life and I give all my respects to all of those who died on that tragic day. While I was taking pictures on my tripod a police officer asked me to back away at least 10 feet away from the fountain, so other people see as well. At that moment I asked him "roughly about how many people died in this terrorist attack? He responded "they were only able to identified 2,997 bodies through DNA. But he told that roughly every day each tower there was about 50,000 people everyday. He told that basically the only people that we were able to identified were US citizens because we had them in our records through finger prints and DNA. But most of the others were business people from all over the world who went to the towers for business meetings and training. 

It is so sad that a lot of people don't pay their respects on a place like this. I was even informed from the officer that he has seen people sitting on top where the peoples names are engraved, lighting off cigarettes and even having their dogs stand on top of their names. He also said that right where we were standing it was an actual grave yard, because they are thousands of people that were never found neither identified.
